Richard Avedon Biography
Avedon was born May 15th 1923 and died October 1st 2004. He was born in New York, New York. Richard Avedon bean pohotographing at age 10. He studied photography in U.S. Merchant Marine and at the New School for social Research. One of Avedon's great influences was a Hungarian photographer, Martin Munkasci. The types of photographs Richard Avedon takes are fashion photographs and portraits. His photos are strongly black-and-white that creates sophistication. His major contributions were Harber's Bazzar(19-46-65) Vogue(1966-90) and he was '92 first staff photographer at the New York. Throughout Richard Avedon's life he showed a great passion with his photography and gave amazing views on how fashion and simple portraits should be.
